Leister GROOVER 500-LP 167.451 is the first 18v battery powered machine from Leister provided with a 130mm 3.5mm Parabolic TCT Blade (167.026) for Vinyl Floor Laying and Welding (other blades available). It is also supplied with 2 x 18v 5.0Ah Lithium battery packs and charger as well as a vacuum cleaner adapter, dustbag, dust pipe, union nut, hex key, quick guide and storage case.
The cordless GROOVER 500-LP provides maximium flexibility on site given its battery powered credentials allowing maximum flexibility while retaining the power, precision and durability Leister is known for while still allowing for dust free floor grooving & milling.
Designed for general-purpose milling for plastic (PVC, PE, PUR) and natural (linoleum, rubber) floor coverings, the new sensing roller provides for reliable grooving, even on uneven floors. It cuts welding grooves for floor laying with ease, up to a maximum depth of 6mm (depth adjustment is infinitely variable).
The Groover 500-LP also has a blade (167.024) designed specifically for safety flooring.
Designed from the ground up the new Groover 500-LP has a LED light to illuminate the grooving area and a side stop for grooving along rails; essential for those long seam joints when using contrasting colours. It also has an adjustable side roller for reliable grooving on pimpled floor coverings.
The new machine comes with a three-point stand enabling increased stability and incorporates an optimized rear guide roller for precise positioning. The design of the base allows to close to the edge grooving and the absence of a power cord means no more messy, tangles of power leads or searching for electric power sockets on the job site (which always tend to be out of reach of the supplied power cord, necessitating extension reels and transformers for 120v/110v work).
